You can split expenses equally among all members or customize the split with specific amounts or percentages for each person. The app automatically calculates who owes what.
Go to the Balance Summary screen, view who owes whom, tap "Settle Up", select the person and amount, record the payment. The balance updates automatically.
Yes! Go to Settlement Status screen to see all past payments, including date, amount, payer, receiver, and status.
Groups with active expenses or unsettled payments cannot be deleted/disabled. First, delete all expenses and settle all pending payments. Groups with just members (no expenses) can be deleted.
Deleting a group removes it permanently. All members lose access. Before deleting, you must delete all expenses and settle all payments. Past expense history is preserved for audit purposes.
Disabling temporarily stops using a group (can be re-enabled later). Deleting permanently removes it. Both require no active expenses or unsettled payments first.
Members with unsettled payments or active expenses in the group cannot be removed. First, settle all their pending payments and remove them from all expenses, then you can remove them from the group.
Go to Tasks tab, tap the + button, enter task title, description, assign to a flatmate, set priority (low/medium/high), and optional due date.
Tap on the task card and select "Mark as Complete". The task will move to the completed section and all flatmates will be notified.
Yes, open the task details, tap "Edit", change the assigned person, and save. The new assignee will receive a notification.
The shopping list is shared among all flatmates. Anyone can add items they need, mark items as purchased, or remove items. Perfect for coordinating grocery shopping!
Go to Shopping tab, tap the + button, enter item name, quantity (optional), and category. The item appears instantly for all flatmates.
Yes! After marking items as purchased, you can create an expense directly from the shopping list with pre-filled details.
Recurring bills are regular expenses like rent, utilities, internet. Set them up once and get automatic reminders before they're due. Track payment status easily.
Go to Bills tab, tap +, enter bill details (title, amount, category), set frequency (weekly/monthly/yearly), due date, and reminder preference (3 days before by default).
You'll receive push notifications before bills are due (default: 3 days before). Bills show as "Due Now" or "Overdue" in the app. Mark as paid to track payment.
Yes! Open bill details, tap the pause button. The bill stays in your list but won't send reminders or update due dates until you resume it.
Go to Profile → Change Password. You'll receive a password reset link via email. Click the link, set your new password, then sign back in.
Go to Profile → Account Details. You can change your display name and phone number. Email cannot be changed for security reasons.
Go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Review any blockers (unsettled payments, admin roles). If clear, confirm deletion. This action is permanent.
Your personal info (name, email, photo) is deleted. Shared financial records (expenses, settlements) are anonymized but kept for other users' records.
You'll get notifications for: new expenses, task assignments, bill reminders, payment requests, flat invitations, and important updates. Enable push notifications in Profile → Preferences.
Go to Profile → Preferences → Push Notifications and toggle off. You can also manage notifications in your device settings.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password", enter your email, and you'll receive a password reset link. Follow the link to set a new password.
Make sure: 1) The invite code is entered correctly (case-sensitive), 2) The code hasn't expired, 3) They have a registered account. Generate a new code if needed.
